Own a small business? Looking to upskill your employees?
Did you know you have access to part qualification funding to up skill your employees?
If you answered NO to these questions then you should definitely read on…
Part qualification funding is provided by the NSW Government under the Smart and Skilled initiative. The funding is available to assist organisations undergoing change who need to retain or upskill workers, assist with the creation of new jobs or permanent employment.

There is no cost incurred by your business or staff when utilising this funding. Ideally you will have identified a group or team within your business who could benefit from training, even if they have never had formal training before, and then it’s a simple process of:

  1. You identify the training need within your business.
  2. A consultation meeting is held with ET Australia Training College to agree on the units to address the need.
  3. Confirm training delivery method (i.e. onsite, offsite) and times.
  4. You organise a letter of support (example below).
  5. We send off the application for approval.

If you’re stuck on ideas for your letter of support, check out our example here.

ET Australia has been successful with the majority of applications submitted to date. Training must commence prior to the end of 2018 and be completed by 30 June 2019.
