Reaching for a handful of cashew nuts, or pouring a cup of chamomile tea can also help and just before you throw away all your comfort foods – a couple of squares of dark chocolate has been linked to improved moods.
Relaxation techniques – We know what you’re thinking “how do I fit meditation in on top of everything else?”, but even deep breathing for 10 minutes can work wonders.
There are all sorts of techniques you can choose to find your Zen, from music to yoga, the trick is to find the one that works best for you. If you’re forcing yourself to do it then it’s not right, so move on and try something else.
